Complimenting the seasonal flowers and fruits, the perfume resonates of pink grapefruit, strawberries, jasmine and rose. Fruity, floral fresh cheerful - isn't that how everyday in spring is!

Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Acne Care
Why We Love It: Women with acne-prone sensitive skin have the worst of both worlds. The products needed to dry out pores often have unwanted side effects on delicate epidermises: namely, redness and irritation. Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Acne Care zaps zits without sapping moisture and targets the six imperfections of adult acne-prone skin: inflamed lesions, large pores, shiny skin, uneven tone, dryness and redness.
Cool Fact: This anti-acne moisturizer – combining salicylic acid, glycolic acid and LHA, an antibacterial exfoliator patented by L’Oreal – has reduced our acne and calmed the red skin we thought we were stuck with. Plus, one of us swears it's reduced the look of the premature wrinkle on our 23-years-young forehead. We can’t wait to see how this product performs in the harsh Canadian winter.

Emotional Brilliance by Lush
Why We Love It: After years in gorgeous bath and body products, Lush has just released a new make-up line, “Emotional Brilliance”, featuring fresh, handmade colour (liquid lips, liquid eyeliner and cream eyeshadow, skin tint, translucent powder and non-irritating mascara). Items are derived from natural plant bases and are packaged in tiny tubs or cute eye-dropper bottles (low-impact packaging). Colours are vibrant – especially the lipstick, which provides a matt, brilliant stain that can be muted with lip balm.
Cool Fact: Lush did research and discovered that women wanted mascara that didn’t ‘hurt’. With only one preservative (according to their press release, most mascaras on the market contain between 4-6), it will not irritate the eyes. Wheatgrass is the key ingredient in Eyes Right, as it’s packed full of vitamins and minerals to really condition and nourish the lashes.
Where to Buy It: Emotional Brilliance launches 21st July 2012 in all LUSH stores worldwide and online. Priced between $19-$23

Soapwalla Deodorant Cream
Why We Love It: We apply deodorant every day, with hopes that it will will keep us dry and odour-free. While we want to use the most natural ingredients possible, the health-food store deodorants (we lost a few friends with the crystal) were always a gamble. Soapwalla Deodorant Cream works. With 'superfine vegetable powders, clays, and lavender, peppermint, and tea tree essential oils to absorb moisture, inhibit bacteria', it's effective, it smells terriffic and makes us feel that much more secure that our daily pit-juice is derived from natural products.
Cool fact: Freshfaced.ca is a Canadian beauty e-tailer that specializes in natural products. This is the one deodorant they sell because it's the one they trust most.

Lip Trio, by Éminence Organic Skin Care
Why We Love It: Taking care of our face – cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, the works – is pretty standard, but do we ignore our lips? Maybe a little. No matter how vigilant we are, sunburnt or chapped lips in the summer and winter can creep up on us (no one can remember everything, right?). This deliciously indulgent lip trio helps with prevention and damage control, erasing dryness and those pesky fine lines around the lips. And best of all? It’s organic!
Cool Fact: A three-step lip care team, there’s the Citrus Enzyme Lip Exfoliator, Lip Comfort and Plumping Masque, and the Citrus Lip Balm. In the exfoliator, the fruit enzymes help refine, where the bioflavonoids and vitamins smooth. In the masque, there’s shea butter and avocado oil for deep hydration, and natural peptides for a collagen boost. Finally, there’s a petroleum free citrus balm to add sheen and (more!) hydration.
Where to Buy It: Available at select fine spas and salons across Canada. Go to www.eminenceorganics.com or call 1-888-747-6342 for information on locations. Retail, $60.
- Heather MacMullinÉminence Organic Skin Care
Why We Love It: A straw-textured, heat-damaged mane is no woman’s friend. We put our hair though a lot of abuse during the styling process: blow drying, straightening, and curling all leech away our hair’s natural moisture. So, when we find a way to cut away at the time our hair spends exposed to the heat, we’re all for it! (Plus, who wants to spend all that time under the dryer during the summer, anyway?)
Cool Fact: Goody’s new Quikstyle Paddle Brush is designed to wick away 30% of the moisture from just-washed hair. Regular and microfiber bristles are intermixed, allowing you to detangle and dry together. As you brush, they wrap around your hair, absorbing water in every stroke. The brush also features side ventilation and anti-microbial properties to help aid drying and prevent mold growth (a quick jet of hot air from your hair dryer will also speed up the microfiber’s drying time for your next use).
Where to Buy It: Available at Walmart, Loblaws, Jean Coutu, London Drugs, and other food, drug and mass retailers, 15.99.

We suspect this will be our new go-to product this summer!
Cool Fact: Estèe Lauder’s BB Crème is a frontrunner in the wave of BB creams that have been hitting the shelves this year. Neither tinted lotion nor heavy foundation, it is a multi-tasking marvel; with Lauder’s Super Anti-Oxidant Complex, oil-free hydration, and a SPF 35, it moisturizes and protects while it evens out your skin tone and helps prevent oil build-up during the day.

Cool Fact: True to their commitment to improving and maintaining good skin health, SkinCeuticals created this product to limit the injustices adult acne and aggressive environmental factors inflict on our skin (grossly unfair, we think). SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic® Serum
Why We Love It: We all know about the damage UVA/UVB rays can do to our skin. That’s why we lather on sunscreen (even in cold, dark Canadian winters) to help ward off wrinkles and discolouration.
But there are other harmful rays we need to watch out for; studies now show that Infrared Radiation A waves (IRAs) damage the skin, just like UVA and UVBs. But ordinary sunscreens and serums don’t protect against these rays, that penetrate deep into the dermis and can break down collagen.
SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic, however, does. This luxurious serum has been clinically proven to neutralize UV and infrared radiation for increased firmness and reduced wrinkles. Apply with a broad-spectrum sunscreen for maximum protection.
Cool Fact: It’s silky-smooth texture means it rubs right in – and once absorbed by the skin, it can’t rub or wash off.
Where to Buy It: $152. Visit SkinCeuticals.com to find a retailer near you.

Banana Republic's Wildbloom Vert Eau de Parfum
Why We Love It: The scent offers clean and bright notes that are, at first, remind us of a fresh fruit basket. The top notes radiate crisp pear, green violet, and pink lady apple. At the heart is subtle gardenia, magnolia, and peach blossom, which transform into an addictive musk and sandalwood that linger like breaths of fresh air.
Cool Fact: The bottle was designed to reflect a “modern, confident, and effortlessly beautiful woman who wears an optimistic scent.” An eau de parfum is typically more concentrated than eau de toilette – meaning less fuss about reapplication so you (and others around you) can enjoy the scent more naturally.
Where to Buy It: Available at Banana Republic stores.

Matcha Lemon-Ginger Weight Loss Tea
Why We Love It: The potent antioxidants and great taste not only improve our skin from the inside out, but they also aid in weight loss (which never hurt anyone).
Cool Fact: Aside from the green tea’s metabolic benefits, this mix has ginger which promotes digestion, and hibiscus which acts as a mild diuretic ridding you of excess water.
Where to Buy It: :RDeals.ca for an exclusive offer.
Perricone No Foundation Foundation
Why We Love It: As someone who hates the feeling of heavy makeup, this formula is so lightweight and smooth it truly feels like you have nothing on your face.
Cool Fact: We’ve tried colour-matching foundations before and nothing works like this (would we lie to you?). The Tone Correcting Technology allows the same bottle to virtually work across a line-up of different women – the SPF 30 rating and anti-aging ingredients don’t hurt either. The compliments we get when wearing this (we prefer to mix with out moisturizer) are enough to keep hooked.
Where to Buy It: The Shopping Channel for an anniversary price of $45.
Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10
Why We Love It: Two words: Youth. Enhancing. Anything that works to peel the years of sun, smoke and stress off our faces is a friend of ours. We also love that it didn’t irritate our sensitive skin-even with twice daily use.
Cool Fact: In France, one woman buys a Liftactiv Derm Source product every two minutes – and we all know how glam the French are! Ten years of research, seven patents and seven clinical trials went into this serum.
Where to Buy It: Head to the dermo-cosmetic section of drugstores/pharmacies across the country ($55/30mL), or facebook.com/VichyCanada.
