Should the Turban Trend Be Kept Under Wraps?

Salma Hayek created some buzz last week when she attended Stella McCartney's runway show in Paris wearing a gray printed turban. It seemed like an odd choice, given her curves-conscious belted ensemble. But the hot momma wasn't the only one to wrap it up recently.

At Giorgio Armani show's in Milan, hairstylist Oribe created a sleek twisted bun to complement the Tuareg-style headwear worn by the models. And let's not forgot (or maybe you're hoping you could forgot) Carrie Bradshaw's desert chic look in Sex and the City 2.

Tempted to try out this Sahara style? Slip on Jennifer Ouellette's Turban Knot Headband. The wide leather band, complete with knot detail, is a classic accessory that anyone can wear (top, $60 at Barneys). Or sub your traditional winter wool cap for the Knit Turban Beanie from A.OK by OAK (left, $38 at Refinery 29). For the more daring, scoop up Norma Kamali's version, which comes in an array of hues, including pink! (right, $75 at Norma Kamali)

Hmm, could this be the answer to my bad hair days?
