It seems like it's been forever since Kristen Stewart was caught cheating on longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director. But, really, it's only been a little over a month -- and K-Stew has been taking that time to regroup. The 22-year-old starlet finally reemerged into the spotlight Thursday at the premiere of On the Road at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Stewart looked a bit gaunt as she walked the carpet -- clearly she hasn't been binging on Ben & Jerry's! -- but her dazzling Zuhair Murad dress quickly distracted us from her skinny frame. And if the actress was nervous about how she'd be received after her reputation-damaging scandal, she shouldn't have been. Throngs of her fans had camped out overnight to be at the front of carpet and cheer her on as she premiered the Jack Kerouac adaptation at the festival.

"Dude, I'm really happy that they're here for On the Road, " Stewart told MTV News. "I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with [Twilight], which is why they're here anyways, so it's awesome."

Some fans had been quick to jump on the "trampire" bandwagon, abandoning Stewart during her darkest hour. But now it's clear that many more Twi-hards are willing to stick with her through thick and thin. An array of tweens showed up at the On the Road carpet with signs saying things like "Talent, Beauty, Strength and Courage -- We stand by Kristen always," and "We are always with you Kristen Stewart."

Meanwhile, Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer is taking a hands-off approach to the whole cheating scandal.

E! News caught up with Meyer in N.Y.C. at Project Runway's finale and asked her what she thought of the K-Stew/R-Pattz fiasco. She kept her answer short, simply saying, "That is so not my business."

What is her business is the final Twilight Saga movie, Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, which will hit theaters on Nov. 16. Pattinson, 26, and some other members of the Cullen brood presented a new trailer for the movie at the MTV Video Music Awards Thursday.

"I tend to get really sad when I have to [think about the final film]," Meyer says. "So I'm sort of putting it off. I figure it'll be a really emotional night when it comes out and we know that it's over. That's going to be rough."
