I loved last night’s Women Tell All special. Love Ana that much more for speaking her mind while not being catty.
It could have been a real disaster when Whitney took the hot seat and went back and forth with Gabrielle, and surprisingly (or not, because Canadians are so gosh darn nice!) the bachelorettes were very civil and honest with their comments towards Whitney in general without resorting to low blows or name-calling. Overall, these ladies are a very classy bunch.
When they replayed that scene where Laura B. is left alone on that bridge in Paris, it makes me cringe. I think that was truly the most painful rejection during the whole series to watch. Left on a bridge while the guy you are falling for whisks away the other woman onto a farting horse-drawn carriage and you – without a horse, a carriage (or sensible shoes) – have to walk back across the bridge alone.
The most touching moment of the Women Tell All was Brad’s words to Laura F. and I would be lying if I said I didn’t get a little choked up watching him praise her.
It seems there were a few key conversations that people either didn’t remember having, or they didn’t happen at all. Gabrielle and Whitney argued over whether Whitney lied about running off to see Brad in his room. And Tia (I don’t remember her...) insists she told Brad in Mexico that she wasn’t developing feelings for him but he says she never once mentioned this. In the end it doesn’t really matter because there are two left. Next week, Whitney and Bianka meet Brad’s family and we find out who he chooses.
Wait, Bianka? Where was she last night? Maybe we should ask host Tyler Harcott; it was great to see more of him on The Women Tell All.
Anyways, the iVillageCanada team is having a special final rose viewing party in Toronto at the newly resdesigned Quail – a Firkin Pub next Wednesday, Nov 21 (Ed note: unfortunately, the guest list is now full). Get some friends and have your own viewing party where we can connect and share photos over Twitter!
