Fantasy dates! Fantasy dates! Three bachelorettes remain and tonight Brad takes them on some spectacular fantasy dates in the Maritimes. I am completely biased as I am a Maritimer myself, and the east coast is a beautiful part of Canada to explore.
The three girls left are Whitney, Kara and Bianka. Based on the response I get online, Kara and Bianka are the heavy favourites. After last week’s episode with the hometown dates, many of you hoped Brad would keep Gabrielle around. It was definitely the episode where she won some people over by showing her compassionate side, but in the end, someone had to leave.
Don’t forget that Whitney has raised some concerns for Brad. She struggles to verbalize her feelings – and as much as that frustrates him – I think it makes her more mysterious and desirable at the same time. Brad has very strong feelings for her and he wants to know that she feels the same. Who can forget the awkward moments during her family dinner when her dad asked her blunt questions about her feelings for Brad? Dads do awkward and embarrassing so well! So will their fantasy date tonight provide him with the assurance he needs? We’ll find out soon enough.
Here’s one thing I hadn’t noticed but many of you commented: while you love Kara and Brad together, you think they have a BFF vibe going on. One tweet suggested watching them lock lips was like watching a brother and sister kiss…what?!  I am hoping most of you have never witnessed that before.
Bianka is also slowly letting her guard down, but she’s told Brad that she’s been cheated on many times in the past and that makes it hard for her to trust people (we’re looking at you, Kris Humphries!). Brad doesn’t have the luxury of a lot of time to convince her that she can trust him so tonight could be a big step in their relationship.
This is definitely a very important rose ceremony. After tonight, we will have the final two bachelorettes and Brad will introduce them to his family. Brad and his family are very close and their opinions will play a huge factor in who he chooses.
Join me online tonight as I tweet from the @bachelorCA account during the show. I always love hearing your thoughts as the drama unfolds!
